Submissions to the Review of Special Education are now closed.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to give feedback on the discussion document and to share their experiences and ideas.
Submissions are currently being collated and will form part of the Ministry of Education’s advice to government.
We expect that by the end of August, the Government will have decided what, if any changes to special education are needed. Announcements will follow from there.
A summary of the responses received from submissions will be made available when the Government's decision-making process is completed.
