Review of Special Education
The Government announced a Review of Special Education in August 2009. The aim of the review is to ensure that policies and processes are fair, consistent, reach those most in need, make the best use of government funding, and that parents have choices.
The Government is currently considering what changes it will make to special education in response to submissions received on the review.
