Sustainability
The Ministry of Education is a member of the Govt3 programme, an initiative which assists central government agencies to become more sustainable. The ministry is also one of the 28 stage two core public service agencies that will be on the path to carbon neutrality by the year 2012. The ministry’s first Carbon Emissions Inventory, for the year 2006/07, and its first Carbon Emissions Reduction Plan, for the year 2007/08, are available below.
