Getting the most out of parent-teacher interviews

Schools regularly hold parent-teacher interviews to update you on how your son or daughter is doing. This is a great opportunity to discuss your child’s progress and achievement and share any concerns you might have and how you can support them.

To get the most out of parent teacher interviews, it’s a good idea to prepare beforehand. Ask your child about what they like about learning at school, what they are good at and what they think they need more help with. This will be useful in helping you to prepare questions about your child’s learning programme.
