Specialist career profiles
Special education is about providing extra help, adapted programmes, learning environments, or specialised equipment or materials to support children and young people with their learning. Your support will help them learn and achieve within mainstream education settings.
Ministry of Education employees work in a diverse range of environments, including schools, homes, early childhood education services or residential schools and have the opportunity to work with young children, students, parents, caregivers, family and whānau, and professional colleagues.
