8 Leave and expenses to visit dependants
A teacher who is in receipt of an accommodation allowance may be reimbursed for travelling expenses only (meals not payable) for a weekend visit per month to their dependants.
Travel expenses must not exceed the amount that would otherwise have been paid for accommodation. As with the Accommodation Allowance, the payment of visits is limited to 3 months.
