6 Transfer and uniform grants

6.1 Transfer grant

A teacher entitled to removal expenses and required to shift household may be paid a transfer grant set out in Appendix A where they rent, lease or purchase housing.

6.2 Uniform grant

Teachers are entitled to a grant as per Appendix A for each child who is attending a state or integrated school prior to the date of transfer, who attends another state or integrated school after the transfer and for whom a different uniform is required to be purchased (in terms of the new school's policy) because of the change of school.
