Generally all schools have adopted the need to plan ahead and have had a 10YPP in place for several years. The results compared favourably with previous audits and highlighted an improvement on schools understanding and implementation of the requirements for the plan. Other observations from the audit were:

  • schools are taking their property management responsibilities seriously;
  • professional consultants are generally being used to prepare 10YPPs;
  • schools looked well maintained; and
  • schools were comfortable being surveyed.
