Access the Property Management Information System (PMIS)

The PMIS is where you can:

• Locate school specific property information (school buildings, ancillary buildings, boiler, pools, roll numbers, financial projects, and the property maintenance grant.)
• Obtain Asset Update Forms (for new and existing buildings)
• View budgets allocated
• Download 10 Year Property Plan templates
• Access 5 Year Agreement information 
• View the latest PMG (Property Maintenance Grant)
• Obtain Ministry contact information

Once you are on the PMIS site there is access to:

• The Education Gazette - Official magazine of the Education Community
• Educational Leaders  - a site for principals and leaders in New Zealand schools
• Teach NZ -  the latest information on teaching and teacher education in New Zealand.
• Te Kete Ipurangi - The Online Learning Centre.
• New Zealand Government -  Search engine to find information, images and resources from all New Zealand government agencies and government sites

How to use the site

If you know the School ID you are looking for:

• Just key in the ID and press the Submit button.

If you know the name (full or partial) of the school you are looking for:

• Just key in the school name (full or partial) and press Submit.
  If a match is found that can determine the school without any ambiguity, you will be transferred to the Home Page for that school.
  
  If multiple possible matches are found, you are presented with a drop down box with all the possible matches. You can then select the particular school you are looking for and press the Submit button to retrieve information for that particular school.

If you don't know either the School ID or name:

• In this case, you can use the Search button. Press the Search button and all schools in the database will be listed alphabetically in a drop down box. You can then select the particular school you are looking for and press the Submit button to retrieve information for that school.

To locate the Asset Update Forms:

• Once you have found the school you want to view you need to select the “Asset update Forms” section of the page. Here you can locate the asset update forms. If you have any problems downloading the forms please contact your Network Facilitator (details in the Contact Page).
  

To locate the 10 Year Property Plan (10YPP) template:

• Once you have found the school you want to view you need to select the “10YPP template” section of the page. Here you can download the 10 year property plan. If you have any problems downloading the 10YPP template please contact your Network Facilitator (details on the contact page).
