Pay and Employment Equity Review Compulsory Schooling Sector Project Report

This page provides the report undertaken follow a review of pay and employment equity for employees in the Compulsory Schooling Sector as part of the Government’s Pay and Employment Plan of Action to improve pay and employment equity for women.

The review was undertaken by project coordinators and a Tripartite Steering Group comprising representatives from the Ministry of Education, the New Zealand Schools Trustees Association, and the education sector unions: New Zealand Educational Institute Te Riu Roa, New Zealand Post Primary Teachers’ Association, Service and Food Workers Union and the Public Service Association.
