Information about the New Zealand Education Gazette, and a link to the Gazette web site.

The New Zealand Education Gazette is the official magazine of the Ministry of Education. It is published under the authority of the Minister of Education, always on a Monday, every two (occasionally three) weeks, excluding January.

The Gazette is published for the Ministry of Education by APN Educational Media Ltd and CWA New Media.

The New Zealand Education Gazette is issued free of charge to all schools and learning institutions on a graduated scale. One copy should be kept by all head teachers and principals and kept as a record. Staff are reminded that the Education Gazette is the official medium for the ministry's notices to the education service and that they will be expected to have read its contents.

The New Zealand Education Gazette Online offers an internet alternative for readers of the New Zealand Education Gazette. As well as holding the information from current and past issues of the Gazette, including information on vacancies and notices, the Gazette Online offers a variety of new features and will be continuously updated, providing faster access to new notices and vacancies. Vacancies will be available on the site within two working days of their submission to the site.
