The Aspire Scholarship - Financial Support Scheme

Introduction

The Aspire Scholarship provides assistance for low income families towards the costs of private secondary schooling. It will contribute up to $15,000 per year towards the tuition fees of a private school for the duration of a student's attendance at this school. It will also include a yearly allowance of up to $1,500 for course related costs. The scholarship does not cover boarding fees, and cannot be used at state or state-integrated schools.

The programme was introduced in 2010 and around 250 students are now enrolled at private schools through the Aspire Scholarship programme.

At least fifty Aspire Scholarships are now available to be awarded for the 2013 school year. They are available for students who will be moving into year 9 in 2013.

To apply, please download the application form at the bottom of this page, or contact us. Please also see the application guidelines [Word; 136kb] and frequently asked questions [Word; 80kb] for more information.
