CPaBL - Criteria for choosing schools
100 schools have been chosen to participate in CPaBL (Creating Pathways and Building Lives) over the 2007-2008 school years.
Schools invited to join the CPaBL programme were chosen using a combination of random selection and by applying a matrix of identified Focus Groups. The Focus Groups were identified as those most in need of targetted career education programmes.
The priority Focus Groups include: schools with high proportions of Māori, Pasifika, Migrant and Refugee students, lower decile schools (Decile 1-3) and those schools with a high proportion of Early Leaving Exemptions.
