Ongoing Improvements to the National Certificate of Educational Achievement
The Minister of Education announced design changes to the National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) on 29 May 2007.

You may already be aware that the government is today announcing improvements to NCEA .
For the past 18 months NZQA and the Ministry has been working through a number of recommendations from various reviews relating to NCEA.
The improvements announced today are designed to address concerns about student motivation, the credibility of internal assessment, and the need for clear and complete information for students, parents and employers.
