Achievement Standards Consistency Review
The Ministry of Education (MoE) and the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) coordinated the Achievement Standards Consistency Review in 2006. Earlier in the year schools provided feedback on aspects of subject specific Levels 1-3 achievement standards and the scholarship performance standards. This feedback was collated and the key issues arising from this were considered and discussed by Subject Writing Groups. Each subject group produced a communique that summarised key issues from the teacher feedback, the discussions that took place, the recommendations that have been made and the reasons for these.
