Te Reo Matatini Māori Medium Literacy Strategy

Te Reo Matatini Māori Medium Literacy Strategy is a planning document aimed at widening the concept of te reo literacy beyond words, reading and writing. The strategy focuses on supporting the development of learning programmes that will lift student achievement and attainment in bilingual and Māori immersion settings, starting at kohanga, early childhood level through to primary and secondary settings. It builds on and brings together a number of existing strategies to increase understanding of te reo, and redefines and prioritises future initiatives.
