The fourth Hui Taumata Mātauranga (HTM), held in September 2004, included a session where attendees could submit questions for our reply.  Due to the time constraints, not all questions were verbally tabled.  Ngāti Tūwharetoa encouraged you to set out your questions for written reply at a later date.  There were 144 questions submitted from this session.

We have taken each question into consideration while drafting the below reply.  Due to the overlapping of questions, and repetition this would have created, our response to the questions has been made within sections of subject.  We also refer you back to the report back document presented at the HTM 2004 as a further resource of information. 

The HTM is a rewarding opportunity to meet, listen and share in the commitment to make progress right across education.  We hope that this reply to the questions posed at the HTM has the potential to further work positive changes by collaboratively finding better solutions.
