About the case studies
We are looking for case studies to support schools to improve and diversify their practices in internationalising the learning experiences of all students, meet the needs of international students and integrate them into their school and community.
The case studies will cover a range of outcomes specified under the Government’s International Education Agenda with a focus on outcomes listed under Goals 1 and 2.
Recruitment, hosting and pastoral care of international students are key features of international education, but the case studies will also emphasise the internationalisation of learning for all students. This means a case study could come from a school which has no fee-paying international students.
Selected case studies will be researched with your help and published in print and on the web. Most research and production work will take place in early 2009.
If your school, or a school you know of, might provide an exemplar, we would be grateful if you would give us contact details for you or an appropriate person (for example, principal, international director).
How to be involved
Contact us with the name of the school, a contact person, email and phone details and a few words on what the school is doing to internationalise (eg. teaching multiple languages, social action projects offshore, student &/or staff exchanges, global content in the curriculum, festivals & events, community action).
