This resource is designed to be folded as a wallet-sized sheet that International Students can carry with them at all times. It can also be copied flat and displayed "at home".
Use of the resource needs to be explained to the students during orientation.
- The Images and scenarios must be adapted to suit the age of the students.
- Local contact details must be added. Refer to http://www.familyservices.govt.nz for organisations in your area.
- The Resource will be valuable for Parents living in NZ with International Students.
Instructions
- To access the resource go to the 'Related downloads' section at the bottom of this page.
- Insert your school and community details e.g. 24/7 emergency number, health centre phone no etc
- Change name and add school logo if you want to
- Change scenarios to suit your school population
- Print off both sheets - they are designed to be photocopied back to back
You need to print off each sheet singly and then photocopy them backed as a single page.
To use
- Fold the sheet in half crossways, then in half again lengthways so that the picture with all the characters is on the front
- Fold in half twice again so that the sheet is wallet sized.
