The New Zealand Embassy in China has an official blog for people interested in knowing more about New Zealand. Students who have travelled or studied in New Zealand share their experiences and photos there.

Chinese language media
When living and studying in a country with a foreign language, it can comforting to access television (TV), radio and written material in your native language. Chinese TV and radio stations operating in New Zealand are listed below. Chinese language DVDs, videos and CDs can also be rented in New Zealand.
There are a range of local and national Chinese language newspapers in New Zealand, some of which are free. Free Chinese newspapers can be found at Chinese supermarkets and some Chinese restaurants.
Channel Four
The 'Touch China' Chinese language programme runs between 1-4pm every day no Channel Four.
Triangle Television
Triangle has been broadcasting to the greater Auckland region since August 1, 1998. Triangle Television broadcasts on UHF channel 41, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As well as serving the needs of a wide variety of communities, it plays the major role in bringing Chinese arts, news, culture and heritage on a regular, free-to-air basis, to the television screens of the citizens of Auckland. Golden Raindrop Chinese TV
Golden Raindrop Chinese TV began broadcasting in the greater Auckland region in May 2000 under the umbrella of Triangle Television. Programs include popular Chinese dramas, CCTV news and documentaries. Program listings can be found in the NZ Herald and TV Guide, as well as leading Chinese newspapers.
Radio Chinese
Radio Chinese is on air 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition to up-to-date local news, market trends, community programmes and easy listening music, Radio Chinese also broadcasts a mix of programmes from the BBC Chinese service, Hong Kong RTHK and Taiwan BCC Mandarin and Cantonese news and music, all of which are complimented with features on the wider Chinese world as well as English teaching features. WTV (World TV)
WTV provides 24-hour non-stop Asian language TV channels in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean and Japanese, which contain domestic and international news, entertainment, music, sports and dramas. These programmes could be purchased through paid-TV systems such as SkyTV (www.skytv.co.nz) or TelstraClear (www.telstraclear.co.nz).
